The ACADEMY of CRIME

Every knowledge has its price. What is the price for the knowledge from the academy of crime? The Academy of Crime is a short movie created by Pavel Inin, a Moscow based filmmaker. It is a film about youth, ironical carelessness and about where this carelessness might lead to. Often a man has his head in the clouds trying to enwomb himself in a pathetical winning formula and then suddenly he finds himself staying on the ground in a grim reality, right here and right now. Greeko, the protagonist(?), is trying to hide himself in the phrase “look for the irony in the situation, son, look for the irony”. He is hiding in this irony to escape the reality, trying not to listen to his inner voice of reason. The movie has been shown on several film festivals, including Cannes film festival 2013, for which I’ve created a poster, business cards, press kit and flyers.
